Anderson, a U.S. Army All-American, was ranked as the No. 15 player in the nation by Rivals.com. He had originally committed to West Virginia during an in-game announcement at the bowl but re-opened his search following a mid-January offer from USC. Hamilton had spent the past three seasons as quarterbacks coach for the Bears. He also was an assistant in the NFL for San Francisco and the New York Jets.
